Ami is one of the bgirls in this years first ever Red Bull BC One Bgirl line-up. We asked her some questions about it so now it’s time for answers:
1. Do you think that red bull bc one bgirl is a good idea?
Actually, I like battles that include both bboys and bgirls. I don’t think there’s a need in separating the two. However, an all bgirl battle sounds interesting too. So, with this chance, i’m grateful and excited to take part in it as well.
2. How do you prepare and is that any different then for another jam?
I don’t think there’s a difference. With that being said, it’s always been a dream of mine to compete at the RedBull BCONE stage. So with this opportunity, I’d like to do my best. I’ve also been practicing harder than usual.
3. What advise would you give bgirls who look up to you?
You don’t need to compare yourself with anyone, and don’t forget to appreciate those who support you. Winning might be important, but it’s just as important to have fun and to represent yourself honestly.
