”Shake The Dust”!
This film, directed by Adam Sjöberg and executive produced by Nasir ”Nas” Jones, was screened for the first time in Holland during I Love Hip-Hop Festival. “Shake the Dust” is a feature documentary that tells the stories of break dancers from conflicted “third- world” communities around the globe who, although separated by cultural boundaries and individual struggles, are intrinsically tied to one another through their passion for dance and hip-hop culture.
We went together with some students to see this film and really enjoyed watching. It’s great to see how Hip-Hop can make lives better all over the world, even for people who have almost nothing. If you have a chance, check it out!
